Three dinosaurs discuss all manner of interesting topics in comics consisting of the same six panels repeated endlessly.
What’s Awesome About It?
Dinosaur Comics is definitely one of the classics of the webcomic world, and should really be read by everyone. There may be some people that are put off by the repetition of panels, but really this just serves to lend the comic a unique style. Such is the masterfulness of Ryan North’s writing that such a defined structure never gets old and serves as the jumping off point for countless truly interesting discussions between the characters. For those who have never read before or haven’t read in a while, navigating the comic backwards from the most recent or using the random comic button (click on the text coming out of the tiny T-Rex head near the top of the page) is an excellent way to jump back into things, as there aren’t really any continuing storyline except for a scant few.
A classic such as dinosaur comics really doesn’t need my review to recommend it, but needless to say: this is not one to miss. Read it. Just read it.
